Why I still want Modi-fication

This must be the most controversial topic in recent times in India, as most of us are ranting out our anger on our PM everywhere. AModi-380-Reutersnd why shouldn’t we he is the Prime Minister of India, he should look after our securities, his focus should be on our country’s growth and development. Anger, hatred, and violence we are entitled to have everything. Isn’t it?

Well, is he the only one responsible or are we equally involved in everything that we say is WRONG! Let’s talk real guys we complain about corruption and then we are the first one to offer 100 rupees to a cop to get away for not wearing a helmet, or a seat belt. We talk about reservation system and then we go on the roads and spread violence in the name of so-called “Andolans”. From burning houses to public properties, what is left? These are just few examples to look into ourselves before complaining about anything.

Sports were never celebrated in our country like this before, nobody cared about sanitation like this in the rural parts of India. India’s infrastructure is changing rapidly we have better highways and more developed neighborhood. Start ups are on boost; more and more people are inclined towards being their own bosses, which is creating job opportunities every day, so on and so forth.

Sure, just like good things, bad things are happening too. However, just like everything needs time and patients in the same way, we need to stay calm and wait for the results. We just gave this government FOUR years, just four! India is a country of billions. How can be everything is fixed in four years. First we don’t like changes, second we don’t accept them, third we won’t follow them and fourth still we want them.

Just like in a business, an owner make mistakes, learn from them fix them and make it better, in the same way our PM is too entitled to make mistakes, learn from them and make it better for us. I don’t want to go into comparisons, all I want is to be optimistic and bring the change in our lives and stop putting everything on the government.

P.S. I am not a BJP supporter. I am a liberal who is just optimistic and willing to give 5 more years to my PM.

  1. “Sports were never celebrated in our country like this before, nobody cared about sanitation like this in the rural parts of India. What is the basis of these statement? All of these are quantifiable entities. Can you please quantify them?

  2. 1. Which project of Modi’s will yield benefit to India if he gets another 5 years?

    2. Modi’s biggest actions despite hundreds of other poll promises were demonetization and GST. When you say “third we won’t follow them”, Modi never gave an option with these. What benefits will India get if he gets another 5 years from demonetization and GST? Should India suffer his/RSS experiments?

    3. In whichever tone you say “he should look after our securities”, we were promised that come 16 May 2014, all illegal Bangladeshi immigrants that previous governments brought in to India for vote bank, will be deported. Will Modi do this simple task if he gets ANOTHER 5 years?

    4. Which sport is celebrated so well now which wasnt the case before? Is it this one -> https://www.altnews.in/maker-of-crass-communal-and-misogynistic-cartoons-praised-by-pm-modi-on-twitter/

    5. Your “our PM is too entitled to make mistakes” means nothing but your biased “Chalta Hai” attitude.

    6. India is surviving Modi’s atrocities till now only because global crude oil prices were at lowest since last 40 years thereby, keeping our veggie prices low. Crude is slowly changing its direction upwards. Modi, Yogi, RSS, Arun Jaitley or if any one person from Modi’s side can manage that simple challenge, the country may still swing towards him.

For whatever reasons, you have a large following on social media, don’t mislead people that he has the capacity to change anything until you can substantiate your optimism.

Remember, the opposition might have got 70 years to rule India. But these 70 years started with just 30% educated voters, uneducated mass of various religion, caste, creed, language and crooked politics has been borne by single party. This along with various global burdens of currency correction, IMF gold loan/exchange, globalization and crude oil import imposition by OPEC countries. Not the least, a global meltdown during 2008 that hit MMS badly. It is sad to see that youth of this country are mislead by fancy ads and loud speeches. Some optimism towards an experienced leader and vision can do the country some good than pouring than try to create hope where there is none.

    1. Well with due respect to you and your views I can certainly smell the negativity that you have for this government. I will try to answer everything in point by point to you.

      1. Kindly read about the projects that has been executed by him here https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreign_policy_of_the_Narendra_Modi_government

      2. Well I don’t know where you live but I live in Gurgaon and after demonetisation I can see a lot of difference in the property rates then before and GST can be claimed back too.

      3. So your 3rd point clearly says how corrupted the previous govt. was. India is a big country and everybody is well known by their one right I.e. democracy. Even if somebody wants to do something for this country people will try to interrupt. Do you think the opposition will let this happen? If yes then please you tell me what you think they will be gone if Modi is not there ? There lies your own answer.

      4. Clearly you can’t see how well India did in recent Commonwealth games. I’ve never seen getting so many medals and their victories celebrated this way in my 26 years of life.

      5. It’s not a “Chalta hai” attitude sir. It’s called being optimistic and accept human error and give benefit of doubts. However by your quote I can certainly assume that you never made any mistake in your life!

      6. Let’s be honest and accept the fact that the world is changing. The consumption and lifestyle is changing rapidly. Population is increasing day by day however the agriculture department doesn’t get much attention.

I don’t know what’s the reason behind my social media following however I am greatful to everyone who follows me. If I am optimistic that doesn’t mean I can’t see the issues that our country goes through everyday. But I am certainly willing To give him 5 more years because 70 years Congress was ruling our country and trust me it’s not as great as you expected from this govt too. Then why not giving 5 more years to someone else too.

In the end all I can say the youth of this country is very smart and they know what they want. And I am sure I don’t want the same old methods again. I am willing to toss my chances. Your vote is yours !
